The first game of my life was probably Pac Man for the Atari 2600. In the years since that game was state of the art I have played nearly every genre and game system invented. In all those years, gaming has always had the power to thrill me and engage my attention in ways I sensed were unique and important. The growth and evolution of the industry has made gaming mainstream and compelling to much larger audiences, but even a casual gamer needs to know what games are worth spending time on. Knowing what games are deserving of your attention can maximize the time you spend on gaming, help you to discover games you might overlook, and increase your ability to understand what makes a game great to YOU. I want to give you more than just a biased score for each title. I want to provide you with enough insight to determine whether the game is what you personally want to spend time with. Choosing the best games for you and understanding what you appreciate most in them will keep you gaming all your life. Regardless of your preferences, I hope that my blog will be informative, educational, relevant and entertaining. Comments and suggestions are appreciated, and discussion is encouraged. Thank you, Challenging Addiction! (Never used that sequence of words before. Pain killers can build quite a dependence, by the way…). You are the first to notice my intricate advertisement in the Simpsons Tapped Out game, or at least the first to show up. Now it was worth all the time and money!
Tell me what your game name is so I don’t delete you! I need to cycle out some people in hopes that more will drop in. I am almost done with the review for that game, (not that you need it), but will probably finish the review for Walking Dead episode 2 tonight. I just added a cool page about dogs in games, and great dogs in general called “War Dogs”. It’s listed at the top with the other articles nobody reads, if you are interested.
